  *God blessed last week with great energy and memories!  This week we will get back into the normal schedule: Spelling, Memory and all the other subjects too!

* Cherub Choir sings this Wednesday during the 4:00 p.m. service.  The children will stay after school, unless you notify me differently.  Please send a snack for after school.  After the children sing, they will come down to sit with you.  If you are not able to be at the service, your child may sit with Mr. Weber and I during the service.  I will drop them off in Latchkey after the service.

  Here is the schedule just in case you lost it:

       Sunday: Sunday Best Day, Sing in the service of your choice.

       Monday: Pajama / Weird Hair Day, Pancake Breakfast

       Tuesday: WHATEVER Shirt Day, All Lutheran School gathering at SVSU, Book Fair

       Wednesday: Chapel, Storybook Character Day, Read Around Day, Book Fair &  Lenten Services at 4 & 7

       Thursday: Class Color Day, Wacky Olympics

       Friday: Decade Day, Movie Day

     We pray that God will be seen and felt throughout the week and that He will bless all of our activities and travels.

     Blessings and peace as we celebrate Lutheran Schools and the opportunity to spread God’s Word to the ends of the earth!

 Welcome to the third quarter of the school year.

Just a reminder that report cards will be coming home on Wednesday afternoon and the envelopes should be signed and returned  as soon as possible.

Also, Thursday is our next Family Spiritual Growth Night.  I look forward to seeing many of you there!

Welcome to the first full week of November, the second quarter of school and Parent ~Teacher Conferences!

  I look forward to meeting with you at our scheduled time.

Remember that there is a half day on Thursday, release time is 11:10 a.m. and there are NO BUSSES.  There is also NO SCHOOL on FRIDAY!  Enjoy your breaks.

Keep working on your family turkey projects… some of them are already “flying up” on the walls and people have started to “gobble” them up!

Welcome to the last full week of the quarter! 

The year seems to be flying by soooo quickly!

There are a few things to remember for this week: 

1. Picture retakes will be this Wednesday.

2. Return the Parent Teacher Conference  & Family Spiritual Growth Night slips as soon as possible.

3.The Spelling words for Friday come from the -ed words.

4. The students sing this coming Sunday.  You may choose the service you attend. Please make sure your child knows which service because we will be practicing by service this Wednesday.

5. Keep each other in your prayers and be thankful for the blessings that God gives you daily!

Sorry that the class newsletter and post didn’t happen last week; technical difficulties here at school and at home prevented the postings.

Your child brought home their school pictures this afternoon.  To me, their impartial teacher, they ALL looked great!

We continue to work on the Ten Commandments each day this week.  There is a Math test on Wednesday and a Spelling test on Friday over the -ed ending words.

Please make sure that your child has a warm sweater or jacket to wear during recess as the seasons and weather is changing.

Welcome to the first full week of October! Here are just a few things to keep in mind for this week and future planning!

* Grandparents Day is Friday~  there are no afternoon busses, please make pick up arrangements if your child’s grandparent(s) are not taking them home.

* Book-it and Accelerated Reader started Monday.

* Oct. 11 is our first P.T.L. Meeting.  It will be a potluck!  I look forward to see you all there and tasting the great food that God blesses the 6:oo p.m. dinner with.

* There will be NO AFTERNOON busses on Oct. 14.
